On February 27, Chairman Wang Yitong met with Mr. Zayad Lazari, Minister of Development, Investment and International Cooperation of Tunisia.

Chairman Wang Yitong first briefed Minister Ziad Lazari on the introduction of strategic layout and representative projects of NORINCO and NORINCO International. He then pointed out that China-Tunisia enjoy good relations. In September 2018, the Tunisian Prime Minister visited China and participated in the Beijing Summit of the China-Africa Cooperation Forum. NORINCO participated in all activities of the Summit. He also showed his sincere wish to the cooperation between the two parties.

Minister Ziad Lazari said that the NORINCO and NORINCO International have achieved fruitful results in the international market and he also looked forward to the cooperation between the two sides. Tunisia has a superior geographical position and can serve as a platform for radiation to Europe and sub-Saharan Africa. It is politically stable and public safety is guaranteed, therefore, it is suitable for Chinese companies to settle in.

Mr. Zhang Hongbin and Mr. Liu Zezhen, Directors of the Ministry of Transportation attended the meeting. Mr. Yuan Jun, President of NORINCO International and Mr. Wang Zhaobing, Vice President of NORINCO International attended the meeting.
